THE TEAM

More than a house,
a Home.

We started in Cuba over a decade ago, working side by side with hosts who wanted to professionalize the management of their houses. Today we also operate in Dubai, with a team that knows both markets as locals — because we are.

What hasn't changed in 10 years: we treat every property as if it were our own. And every guest as a guest in our home.

About Matanzas

Things to do in Matanzas: guide & attractions →

Matanzas, the "Athens of Cuba" and city of bridges, sits on the north coast between Havana and Varadero. Birthplace of danzón and rumba, it keeps a neoclassical theatre from 1863, the Bellamar caves and the lush Yumurí valley — all 40 minutes from Varadero's beach.

It is the quiet, authentic alternative to Varadero: affordable casas particulares in a real, non-touristy city set among three rivers and their bridges. A good base for combining genuine Cuban culture with beach days.

Highlights

  • Teatro Sauto (1863), a national monument
  • Bellamar caves — the oldest in Cuba
  • Yumurí valley and the city of bridges
  • 40 min from Varadero — an authentic, cheaper base

Getting there

About 100 km east of Havana (~1.5 h) and only 35 km from Varadero (~40 min). An easy day trip from either, or a quiet base near the beach.
