Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how to control it. We aim for the minimum data needed to operate a great booking — and we never sell your data to third parties.
What we collect
- Booking data: name, email, phone, country of residence, check-in/out dates, guest count
- Payment data: processed entirely by Nomod (Dubai bookings); we never see your card number
- Communications: WhatsApp messages and emails you send us, retained for service quality
- Site analytics: anonymised page views, referrer, country; no personal identifiers tied to analytics
Why we collect it
- To deliver the booking you placed (legitimate interest + contract)
- To confirm your identity at check-in and meet UAE / Cuba registration requirements (legal obligation)
- To improve the site and respond to support requests (legitimate interest)
- To send a single confirmation email per booking — no marketing, no newsletters, no third-party sharing
How long we keep it
Booking records: 7 years (Dubai tax requirement) or 5 years (Cuba), then deleted. WhatsApp threads: 12 months after last contact. Analytics: 14 months. You can request earlier deletion via privacy@rentalho.com — we honour it within 30 days unless legally required to retain.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, and portability requests go to privacy@rentalho.com. We confirm within 72 hours and complete within 30 days. UAE residents have rights under PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). Cuban residents have rights under Decreto-Ley 149/2007 (Datos Personales).
